Lyn has loved working with clay since her first pottery class at the age of 14. It is always taking her in new directions. Now living in the Haliburton Highlands, Lyn is fascinated by texture and contrast, both of which are expressed in her modern designs. Lyn’s Stoneware forms are made on the wheel or thrown and altered. Pushing the boundaries and exploring new ideas and techniques is the best part of the creative process for her.
Lyn has studied at the Dundas Valley School of Art and the Haliburton School of Art and Design, and is a member of the Arts Council Haliburton Highlands. Contemporary pieces from her home studio are featured at The Rail’s End and Ethel Curry Galleries.
