Junior High Art class was the first place I was able to work with clay. I fell in love immediately and couldn't wait until I was old enough to take an adult course at the local Guild. That was over 40 years ago, and it's still my favorite medium.
As predominantly a hobby potter I am enjoying the craft daily, now that I'm retired. Functional pottery is my current passion, focusing on shape and form. After all, shouldn't a pottery piece beg to be touched?
